About The Event

In Latin, Solstice is made of two words: sol-meaning "the sun" and sistere meaning "to make stand." The sun standing still is a powerful metaphor for the energy available to us as well: For three days around the solstice points we experience the power of the standstill and the shift of direction.

🌞Are you ready to shift YOUR direction?🌞

Come celebrate this powerful day with Sacred Not Sorry and Divine Detroit at Belle Isle, as we write, move, connect to nature...and each other! This is an all day, free event open to all genders. Water and light snacks will be provided. We'll also be hosting free yoga classes (times tbd) and giving out rainbow SNS journals/pens while they last--arrive early!

Some of you have peeped the generously donated "tent" which will be an exclusive area for women and those on the femme spectrum to share space and vibe.

Sacred Not Sorry merch will be available (sports bras and tanks!) Mrs.Vicius will also be celebrating with us--oferring readings and more; and our awesome friends at The Michigan Squeeze Station will have their delicious lemonades/ginger shots, and wraps available for purchase.

As a reminder, you cannot bring alcohol to Belle Isle but PLEASE BYO 💨 😉
